About the project

Digital by DG was brought on by Scouting America National to completely refresh Northern Tier’s marketing assets through a large-scale photo and video production at one of the most rugged and remote High Adventure bases in the country. At the time, Northern Tier had not received a professional national content production in nearly a decade.


Over the course of three days, Dillon Green and Adam Clark traveled deep into the wilderness alongside Scouts and crews, capturing the authentic Northern Tier experience through canoeing, portaging, hiking, camping, and life on the water. The goal was to create a completely new content library that reflected the grit, adventure, challenge, and beauty that defines the Northern Tier experience.


The project included full creative direction, production, filming, photography, editing, color, and delivery from start to finish. Alongside the main anthem film, Digital by DG also produced testimonial content, recruitment-focused social media ads, organic social cutdowns, and a wide range of photography assets for national marketing use.


The final campaign has since played a major role in strengthening Northern Tier’s marketing presence and contributed to 2026 registrations increasing by over 100% compared to previous years.
