How we work together

The best material is often already in the business: the people doing the work, the place, the product, and the details customers remember. Our job is to find the story and make it useful across the channels where it needs to live. Digital by DG plans and produces photography, video, copy, and creative for websites and marketing campaigns. We can develop the content alongside a new website or help an established brand create a focused set of assets for its next push.

A folder full of photos does not always give a team what it needs to publish. The right image may not fit the page. A long video may need several shorter edits. A campaign may have good visuals but no clear message, or the website may describe the business in language nobody would use in a conversation. Content works better when its purpose, format, and destination are decided early. That also makes production time more useful.

We begin with what the content needs to explain and where it will appear. A website, social ad, email, printed piece, and short video may share the same idea while needing different treatments. We plan the shots, messages, and formats around those uses, then produce and edit the assets as one coherent set. Existing brand guidelines and supplied photography are treated with care. The goal is a recognizable brand and a clear story, with enough range to keep the work useful. Copy supports the visuals with concrete information and a clear next step. When production is part of a broader engagement, the website and campaign team work from the same plan, so the assets are built for the final use. Deliverables and usage expectations are defined in the scope, along with any travel, specialty production, or additional collaborators the project needs.

What can be included

The final scope depends on the project. The work can include:

  • Content planning, creative concepts, and production direction
  • Photography for brands, products, places, and people
  • Video production and edits for web and campaign use
  • Website copy and campaign messaging
  • Social, email, display, and print creative as scoped
  • Asset selection, formatting, and organized delivery
  • Brand consistency across the website and campaign

A few practical questions.

Can you work with the assets we already have?

Yes. We review what is available and identify the gaps before recommending new production. A strong existing library can be the foundation for the website or campaign.

Can one shoot support several channels?

Yes, when we plan for those uses. Aspect ratios, shot variety, durations, and space for text all affect what we capture and how the final assets are edited.

Do you handle branding too?

Brand development and refinement can be part of an engagement. We define whether the work is a new identity, an update to the existing system, or creative production within established guidelines.
