How we work together
Your website has to earn its place in the business. It should help someone understand what you do, see why you are a good fit, and take the next step without working for it. That starts well before a layout. We look at the questions customers ask, the content you already have, and the things your team needs the site to handle. Then we build the structure, write the story, and design the experience around those needs. Digital by DG creates and redesigns websites for businesses in Salt Lake City and beyond, using Wix Studio or Wix Headless where the project calls for it.
Sometimes the current site looks dated. Often the harder problems are less visible: services are difficult to compare, the mobile experience asks too much of the visitor, project work is buried, or the owner needs a developer to make every small change. A redesign should address those problems with the design itself. The useful question is what should become easier for the customer and for the team managing the website.
We begin with a practical map of the site: who it serves, what each page needs to answer, and how someone moves toward an inquiry, booking, purchase, or useful information. We work with the real brand, photography, and content, then build responsive layouts and the CMS behind repeatable pages. Search basics are part of the build: descriptive page titles, clear headings, crawlable links, sensible URLs, and continuity for valuable existing pages. Before launch, we check the experience on smaller screens, test the forms and key journeys, and make sure the people maintaining the site can use it. The handoff includes the parts owners need to keep moving, with ongoing support available when the next idea comes along.
What can be included
The final scope depends on the project. The work can include:
- Website planning, page structure, and user journeys
- Responsive visual design in the existing or refreshed brand
- Wix Studio or Wix Headless website development
- CMS structure for services, projects, people, or resources
- Content organization, page copy, and asset direction
- Form, booking, and business integration setup as scoped
- Launch checks, URL continuity, and practical owner handoff
A few practical questions.
Do I need to replace the whole site?
We look at what is working first. Sometimes the right scope is a better service page, clearer navigation, or a repaired inquiry journey. If the structure and platform still fit, a focused improvement can be a sensible starting point.
Can my team update the website?
That is part of the planning. We organize repeatable content in the CMS and decide which parts need editor control. The right setup depends on what your team changes, how often, and how much design control it needs.
Can you work with our existing photography and branding?
Yes. Existing brand assets are the starting point. We can also plan copy, photography, video, or a brand update when those are part of the project.
